Administrator Academy

The International Hunter Education Association conducts an Administrator Academy for professional hunter education staff employed by state and provincial agencies. The Administrator Academy often precedes the IHEA Annual Conference, which makes it convenient for people to attend both events.

Organized and taught by experienced hunter education coordinators and administrators, the Administrator Academy can greatly increase a new coordinator's effectiveness.

The IHEA and our outstanding academy instructors announce the Hunter Education Administrator/Coordinator Academy. Whether you are the lead State or Provincial Administrator/Coordinator, a Regional Administrator/Coordinator, an aspiring Hunter Education Administrator/Coordinator, or a Hunter Education Instructor, we welcome and urge you to enroll in the upcoming Administrator Academy.

If you have ever wondered what it takes to operate a successful Hunter Education Program, this is the course for you. During this course, students will learn all of the intricate details necessary to manage a successful Hunter Education program. Administrators who have attended the course in the past reported their job was much easier after acquiring the knowledge, skills and abilities provided in this course.

In order to eliminate duplicate travel, the Administrator academy is scheduled after the IHEA’s annual conference. The IHEA annual conference begins on the 3rd and ends the night of the 5th of June. The Academy will begin on June 6th and conclude on the 9th.

Discount rooms and reservations are available at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. Please call 1-800-976-1377 for reservations. Please be sure to reference “IHEA Annual Meeting to qualify for the IHEA conference discounted room rate.

Tuition for the academy is $500, payable in advance to the IHEA. A registration form is available on-line at www.IHEA.com, or by calling Paulette at 303 430-7233. Tuition and fees cover the instructor’s airfare (those who would not have been able to attend without IHEA assistance), lodging and per diem for the extended stay for all instructors, all classroom materials, breaks and other expenditures of the IHEA.

Meals – Depending on number of attendees some meals may be provided with registration.
