Online Courses

Many states and provinces offer alternative courses that allow students to take part of the hunter education course online. Students who complete the online training are normally required to attend instructor-led sessions to complete additional testing and skills training.

This online course provides a good introduction to hunting for someone who wants to learn more about it. It also gives families a way to study together at home, at a comfortable pace. Many people study the lessons in this course to fully prepare for a traditional course.

IHEA offers the standard  course in either English or Spanish. To learn more about the course, browse the lessons, or enroll, click one of the links below. There is no charge to use the IHEA online course. Some agencies may charge fees to complete the instructor-led portions of a course.
